Nalligood’s review published on Letterboxd:
I didn't know what an electric western was before finding this movie, and it's a real bummer they didn't take off. A pretty standard Western that takes several asides to blast 70's rock and killer drum solos before getting back to the action. It's quite strange seeing cowboys ride into town only to take over the saloon with electric guitars. I can't speak to whether this is a retelling of Siddhartha, but I would buy that the old man on the mountain might be Buddha.
(Extra half-star for the Shoot the Piano Player line)
