she (dani) has been embraced by a new family. she is queen. she is not alone
a smile finally breaks onto dani’s face. she has surrendered to a joy known only by the insane. she has lost herself completely, and she is finally free. it is horrible and it is beautiful.
i’ve been meaning to watch the director’s cut since i watched the theatrical version and HELL YES this version definitely did the trick, whereas the other one felt odd at times and not everything seemed at its rightful place
florence pugh’s performance in this is truly out of this world, it was so accurate and whenever she felt anxious or had panic attacks, i felt that. my baby dani getting rid of that scumbag still is one of the best things i’ve ever seen in my entire life, honestly that’s what she deserves. gotta stan the may queen
