  Thought about this for a bit. Or more accurately, haven’t quite been able to not think about this.

  It’s one of the most painful viewing experiences I’ve had for a while — so much discomfort and second hand embarrassment. Internal organs seizing up from the visceral levels of cringe on display from (the inimitable, at his unflinching pathetic sociopathic best) De Niro.

  But never for once was I indifferent to the story and its characters (Beau is Afraid can’t relate).…
