Are the details in this film accurate? Nope. Can Jeremy Renner’s living ass afford to be that reckless? Also nope. But the film does give some insight into the effects of warzone on the very soldiers at the centre of it. And trauma can do very different things to different ppl.
The camerawork is top-notch, at times almost documentary-like. Nothing flashy here, just superb choices of restraint or controlled chaos made in all the right places. The editing is great. The tension is constant and real, as soon as they step into the warzone.
