C'mon C'mon 2021
Felt like this expanded that iconic line from Greta Gerwig in 20th Century Women into a 109 min film. It alludes to parenthood (Mills, a new father), memories, and the human strength to stumble through the erraticism of life (“you just have to c’mon c’mon c’mon”). The plot is mingled with interviews with gifted youth in which they are asked these big, philosophical questions on the future and life itself — arguably the most interesting yet least explored part of the film.
