Conflicted over whether the film should’ve ended at *, but I think I like the actual (slightly less bleak) ending better. Either way, I struggle to find a coherent message the film tries to send (apart from the ‘nice guy facade’ side plot), and that’s the main issue.

Think the highlight was Carey Mulligan - she’s great as always. Don’t think this warranted a best og screenplay :/
