Inspired by Andrew Liverod's excellent list of exploitation films from 1895-1995 (which can be found here), this list is going to round up all of the exploitation and exploitation-inspired films from 1996 to the present.
What this means is that this list will have both films that are every bit as grimy, scuzzy, and unpleasant as the stuff from the golden age of the grindhouse (think A Serbian Film or Human Centipede 2), and it will have films that are not true exploitation films, but take great inspiration from them (such as some of the work of Quentin Tarantino).
This list doesn't replace Andrew's list; it is a companion to it. Anyone who finds this list useful should definitely check out his list as well. As a final note, since I haven't seen every exploitation film made since 1996, suggestions are welcome.
