Landscape in the Mist is one of my favourite films and even got better the second time. Angelopoulos poetically and beautifully captures the essence of searching, How it feels like searching for your family, your god and experience life through this journey. It's sad and devastating to see the pain these two child face and feel. There is a scene where the whole world stops and these two child run in the snow, a slowmotion shot that defines why Angelopoulos is one the best examples of poetic cinema.
