natergate’s review published on Letterboxd:
Found myself mostly indifferent to everything transpiring onscreen. I found the first act most engaging in its bleak but also somewhat endearing minimalism. The theme of depression resonated
in a real way. The static shots seemed to get colder and more hollow as the film progressed, how I perceived them at least. In the end it felt like similar to having stared at snow on a television, it’s hypnotizing but is it profound?
*Note, this is the first I’ve seen of Akerman’s films and I am looking forward to diving into her filmography to a greater degree
