It's not on the same level as Midnight In Paris was, but To Rome With Love provides laughs and gets the job done, even if it doesn't really make sense.
Woody Allen is as neurotic and strange as ever, Jesse Eisenberg effectively plays Jesse Eisenberg from every other movie he's been in except The Social Network, Ellen Page is a more sexually liberated version of Juno and Penelope Cruz is as good as ever--in the looks and the acting department.
Even though I'm still not fully sure who or what Alec Baldwin was in the movie, or what was happening with the Roberto Benigni story arc (and I think my initial reaction is one intended by Allen), both were very entertaining and funny.
So if you're an Allen fan, this will get the job done. If you're looking for a fabulous romantic comedy, pass it up.
