  Not sure if this is a popular opinion or not but I feel like this REALLY slows down for the first half of the boat stuff. Maybe that’s just me. Everything else is great though and it’s crazy how much talent a young Spielberg had behind the camera. Thank god sharks aren’t real!

  Ridley Scott holy shitttttt. New favorite movie of the year!!!! Minari has been dethroned! I was worried that the storytelling technique wouldn’t work here but it definitely does and Scott’s nuance in his direction is a big part of that. Amazing performances from everyone involved and a stunning finale that fits the rising action so well. Absolutely loved this thing. Go watch it
