Nico DeGregorio’s review published on Letterboxd:
Oh, the needle drops. Martin Scorsese in 1990 couldn’t compile such a hot soundtrack. Viva Las Vegas to signify we’re in Las Vegas. The Gambler to signify it’s fun to gamble in Las Vegas. Suspicious Minds to signify that Elvis was popular in Las Vegas. Zombie to signify there are zombies in Las Vegas. So much subtext!
I refuse to get all bent out of shape over this stupid movie. We all flirted with the idea of Zack Snyder being a good director for a couple weeks like a repressed college girl exploring her sexuality. Now, it’s time to tap out. Let the true Snyder-heads have this one. It’s just not worth it.
