Enjoyable but flawed.

The high school scenes were for the most part awesome. I loved the "in memoriam" opening and I loved the Ned/Betty romance. I thought Peter and M.J.'s romance was sweet and fairly realistic.

The character of Mysterio was handled well. Loved the illusion scene at the midpoint, loved the look of Mysterio and his crew. Just handled well tbh in a way that makes a very cartoony character believable in this world.

Peter taking the Iron Man mantle (text, not subtext) was juggled fairly well.

I didn't believe that Peter would give Mysterio the glasses. I didn't believe that anyone would care about Mysterio or even particularly like him. Here, more than in Homecoming, it really felt like plot motivating character instead of character motivating plot.
