general awkwardness and stiffness that led the audience to laugh for like 10% of the jokes in the movie. generally annoying characters saved by some interesting observations of how easy it is to lift others up even when you can’t lift yourself

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse 2023
the animation of the first one single-handedly disrupted the entire marketplace of animated movies and this one is somehow even more visually ambitious and infinitely rewatchable. not enough spiderman 2099!!!!! he has the coolest theme song and it’s only a minute long???????
