God's Own Country ★★★★

(imo, queer cinema is the best that it's ever been right now, and it's nice to see the whole kitchen sink-y pastoral british cinema™ genre catch up with it. muddy and grimy and kind of about brexit and also rly beautiful. elegaic. also includes a scene where one of the most beautiful men i have ever seen skins a sheep to make a jacket to put on another sheep and that was amazingly not the thing i cried most at)
