The first episode of eight installments was engaging, entertaining, and a great introduction to HBO Max/Olivier Assayas’s Irma Vep (2022). Alicia Vikander showed her past ballet skills and her sultry body in her new velvet suit as she portrayed Mira. In fact, she gracefully and secretly climbed some stairs and stole a credit card. Assayas has not lost his touch. The master is behind the camera after directing hundreds of films and I am pleased. We look forward to another installation so we can write more…
