Neven Mrgan’s review published on Letterboxd:
The World's End suffers from the same problems as the other Wright films: it gets weaker the longer it runs, it spells out its initially clever metaphor way too clearly, it's action-filled finale isn't nearly as fun as the opening. But what an opening it is here: a dark, Britishly bleak comedy about aging and not aging, fast-paced and joke-loaded. If they could stick to a simple, straightforward story like this, who knows how good a movie they could make.
