I'm pretty sure everything that could be said about this film has been said so I won't offer any valuable insights of it.

I just really like musicals and this is a really good one at that. Another thing I simply adore is films about filmmaking which this one is also. So if we combine those two things that I love and add a lot of great colours I get this delight of a film that gets better the more I think about it!

I definitely had my problems with it at first. For example I thought it was a bit weak in the first act but it got much, much better as it went along. And some of the dances/songs were a little tame and went on for a little to long and disrupted the overall flow. These things bothered me quite a bit but the film won me over and proved to be just pure movie magic that is impossible to dislike!
