Love finding new filmmakers to keep an eye on. Definitely will have Daniel Goldhaber on my directors watchlist for the near future. Really suspenseful riveting energy and documentarian filmmaking style that brings a pulse to the film. No performance really stood out for me but the direction was great as was the pacing.
I had no fucking clue this was on Letterboxd. But oh my god. I have never felt so represented on screen before with Connell. The shyness, the anxiety, the quietness in not saying much with friends, not feeling like you fit in anywhere even though you have multiple groups of mates, that feeling of love that is just so moving and captivating that you can't explain.
