Ewan Mcgregor is easily my favorite actor in this franchise and his performance in this is my favorite also. He is doing god's work. That moment where he kicks Grevious is hilarious.

    Conversations with Friends

Every character is deeply unlikable and annoying as fuck but I daresay that it's so terrifically shot and directed that the intimacy and longing exemplified in every frame is incredibly intoxicating.
I love Lenny Abrahamson's filmmaking skills, placing the viewer in the center of his character's world, making us feel their breath or basking in their scent and aroma. Those still camera shots of a character walking into view while a bus whizzes past or a frame held on…

Right I have not finished the whole show yet, only on episode 1.
But, Joe Alwyn's accent is actually good. People outside of Ireland have never heard a D4 accent which is a really posh South Dublin Rob Lipsettesque tone that does terrible damage to the ears and he is doing a brilliant job at it. Man, I don't know, I thought this was a fucking blast. Pure yee old energetic action straight out of the 90s that we don't get any more. Frantic editing, fantastic use of a city, kinetic action, mad ass humor and kooky stupid characters. People might not like Bay but this was really enjoyable. Jake Gyllenhaal is goddamn great.

  • The Batman

    The Batman

I would not be surprised if this film becomes my Once Upon A Time in Hollywood of 2022. The most recent film that I think is an absolutely spectacular masterpiece in every aspect from beginning to end that I wholeheartedly adore and love and rewatch like every 2 months. I'm just still in awe and amazement that Matt Reeves created something so visually and thematically gorgeous, vibrant and profound. He completely conjured up a Batman so deliciously dark, complex and…
