A beautiful way to make something different out of a familiar genre.

The editing was a bit messy at times but other than that it’s a great and emotional coming of age story.

Exactly what I was hoping it would be. A kick ass David Harbour playing Santa killing all of the naughties in a gruesome but satisfying way.

Who cares that certain things don’t make sense or that the Santa lore isn’t explored enough.

This movie was so much fun!

Spielberg the LEGEND continues to put forth valiant effort after valiant effort. This film might be not only his most personal but it’s also an eclectic masterpiece about the embodiment of art and family. The way he takes you inside this family’s life makes you feel like you’re included in the magic. Their heartbreaks and joys become your own. It’s truly wonderful!

The technical aspects of this film are top notch and the score might be one of John Williams’ best in recent years, it will for sure be underrated.

If only it wasn’t 15 minutes too long.

This movie is IMMACULATE, BREATHTAKING, MASTERFUL, and SO MUCH MORE. It respects the novelization of this plot, and yet also feels fresh and full of life off the pages. Villeneuve continues to show why he is one of the true auteurs of cinema! If this movie doesn’t sweep up all the technical awards at the Oscars, what are we even doing?

Every performance felt whole. It’s almost as if the vision that I had while reading the book unfolded before…
