I’m old enough to remember way back in 2019 when this show was announced and it’s elevator pitch was that Loki would “pop up throughout human history as an unlikely influencer on historical events.” Despite already loathing Loki as a character, I couldn't help but be interested in a high budget show with as silly a premise as “what if Loki was Forrest Gump?”
The final product was nowhere near that creative. Every time something came up that I thought was cool, it was done away with rather quickly. It was all boring setup for whatever future marvel properties are gonna be playing with the multiverse thing, while at the same time not really committing enough to that for me to get excited about whatever they’re teasing. I don’t care about any of this and maybe thats just my thing for not being a ride or die Marvel boy.
Some of this was okay and every episode I liked was in the second half. I am going to forget I watched this come season 2. Atrocious green screen all around.
