“You wanna talk to God? Let’s go see him together, I’ve got nothing better to do”
I decided I'm going to re-watch all the Indiaina Jones films starting today and I kind of forgot just how good this movie is. I mean seriously, Indy has some of the greatest one-liners I've ever seen, the darkness is balanced very well with the more light-hearted scenes, The John Williams score is quite possibly my favourite from him, and it is filmed expertly. The romance doesn't get annoying at all and it is one of the best-paced movies of all time, because of how fast it goes, it barely even feels feature-length, even though it's 2 hours long. Sure, Indy technically has no influence on the plot, but hey I don't care, the story wouldn't be nearly as interesting without him. I love this movie.
