Jordan Peele is a legend for creating one of the most batshit crazy, cruel versions of "UFO" in cinema history. Even when handed an over-saturated sub-genre, Peele still has enough horror visions of his own to provide a chilling experience for horror fans.
Nope is a UFO story but also not quite one, and the audience is simply in for a true shock that ultimately makes this viewing experience all the more memorable. The cast is simply wonderful, most notably Keke Palmer, who has always been such a delightful presence to watch. Peele's creative, symbolic writing ensures an engrossing plot, and Nope truly shines in its more gruesome, unsubtle scenes that can really send chills down your spine. Highly recommended.
