I’ve been in New York on a work trip and I had a flight at 4pm today. I just really wanted to see a movie before I left and I felt seeing West Side Story in New York was just too great to pass up. I woke up after a long night of drinking and trudged over to AMC Lincoln Center to catch a 9:00am IMAX showing, completely unaware of the connection Lincoln Square had to the film.

First Cow 2019
I’ve been waiting for this movie to come out for while... waiting was worth it. Kelly Reichardt films make me feel so comfortable and calm from the start and this was no exception. Reichardt has such a gift for frame composition and emotional storytelling. Oh, to just sit in on her class and absorb what she has to say about film would be such a priceless experience.
