Nicole Ackman’s review published on Letterboxd:
"This, madame, is Versailles."
There's so much I could say about how this is a masterpiece, how much I feel for the young (!!!) Marie Antoinette, how sumptuous this film is, how beautifully it shows isolation even when surrounded by people. But every time I watch it, all my brain really can yell is "HOW WERE THEY GIVEN THIS MUCH ACCESS TO VERSAILLES?"
