i treated this as the cynical take to before sunrise but its drowned in the same romanticization, just accompanied by reality, duty, regret, and unabashed revelations. how intimate, ill come back when im bitter or hopeful or un/satisfied, doesnt matter, it sheds a light on the most frivolous and profound things

feels right, effortless, change/coping/loneliness/love, also super relatable since im also an incredibly attractive cop pursuing love

alotta cool stuff (arcade/pachinko, fax, colors, feet, fancy hotel), good amount of uncool stuff (caricatures, jazz lady) nice escape tho its pretty, spike jonze still wins
