Niels ’t Hooft’s review published on Letterboxd:
I was not ready for this, nor was my grilled cheese sandwich. I was supposed to eat it in a diner nearby, but it took too long, so I brought it to the cinema, which turned out to be rather posh (there was also a 'no food or drink' sign), so I hid the sandwhich under my coat. The cultured people around me must have smelled the grilled cheese.
It took me a long time to get into Andrei Rublev, and I had to pee from quite early on, but I kept trying, and around halfway started getting in sync with the film's rhythm. By the time the boy starts casting his bell I was enthralled. And afterwards I had a cold cheese sandwich to go, too.
