Two things I really didn't like about this movie:
- The super heavy ugly color grading (and it general the fact that it doesn't look all that good).
- The auditorium scenes (like the one in which Hawking explains something, some people walk out angrily, someone else says "He did it!", then everyone claps). I understand that it's hard to pull off 'talking about hard science in a movie for a large audience' but The Theory of Everything does an OK job except in these sequences.
Otherwise, it's a decent movie about an extraordinary man (stellarly performed) that made me cry but didn't give me much to think about other than 'it's hard to have a disease and nice to get some help'.
