I honestly felt weird about the way the parents were talking about their experience like they did. Sure, they were victims to an extent, but they were enablers, as well.
And the reenactments were just bad.
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
I have a lot to say about this that I don't want to type. This movie is insane and there are probably a bunch of different interpretation. The way I see it: JLaw = Goddess-based/nature religions, the house = the earth, Javier = patriarchal religions/Christianity.
