A movie all about a bunch of uninteresting people sitting around watching TV, eating chicken together, and occasionally dying horribly. Think a drier, talkier Halloween (1978) without anything that made that watchable and a molasses-slow pace up until the last 10 minutes.
Black is King (2020): alternate title: Beyonce, a literal millionaire, tries to relate to normal people and pretends Lion King (2019), a soulless corporate product, is a real social cause.
A few of the songs are fine to okay. What bothers me is for this millionaire to be basically telling people the "right" way to be black for a lot of the runtime. It's reaching for some interesting concepts later on but still falls short.

LGBTQ+ people: Hey Disney can we have literally any gay representation in any of your franchises
Disney: Sure gays, you get to have a short on our streaming service many of you won't have access to where the main character never actually says the word gay and turns into a literal dog most of the time. Also, you get pretty rainbow animals that sound stereotypically gay that add literally nothing.
