  i don't think people realize the tone of this movie is intentionally stupid because humanity is stupid.

  this is satire and realism smushed into one, and it is scary (and sad) to think that humankind's reaction to a catastrophic event would be as depicted.

  I didn't know what to expect, but it definitely wasn't something as touching, beautiful and tragic while maintaining its humour throughout.
