Good grief, I love The Peanuts.
What can I say? It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown (and all Charlie Brown media for that matter) is a timeless classic that still feels fresh 50+ years after its release.
And come on, we all know Sam Mendes used Snoopy's Red Baron sequences as the template for his far more inferior film 1917, but failed to replicate all the gut-wrenching and riveting drama which encapsulates the senseless violence and futility of war that Snoopy delivers in his truly brilliant performance.
