Daniel Metzger’s review published on Letterboxd:
I knew I would love this movie because one of my favorite things is stories about two guys in an isolated place under mysterious circumstances. As the film goes on, it comes increasingly difficult to discern what is real and what isn’t; another thing I love. This is one of those movies where you’re already looking forward to watching it the second time before it’s even over. I just loved everything: the visuals, the ominous score, the spellbinding lead performances. I don’t know how Wilem Dafoe didn’t win all the awards for this. It’s amazing that a movie can be so unpleasant and yet so enjoyable.
