I was hoping the poor reviews wouldn't hold up, but this one is really a mess. It just felt very jumbled, stupid and of little consequence. And I hate to say this about Khaleesi, but I thought Emilia Clarke was terrible as Sarah Connor. Every line out of her mouth seemed so insincere. None of the jokes landed, and I can't even really remember any action sequences that stuck out. I do like the idea of an older terminator intervening at the point where the first movie started, but after that is over there wasn't a whole lot for me to like here.

I don't know if I'm prepared to give this a proper review. I need to absorb everything. I think I loved it, just not in the ways I thought I would. I'm seeing it again tomorrow, which should better position me to properly convey my thoughts, free of expectation. I will say that it really does feel like a fitting celebration of the last 11 years of the MCU in many ways.
