Njabs Phungula’s review published on Letterboxd:
What I like about this movie is that, unlike today's films, it doesn't make it too obvious that it's a spoof. Sometimes you forget that the concept of the film isn't entirely original. But it seems so. Mel Brooks and Gene Wilder clearly know what buttons to push. Also, Igor is one heck of a character. The movie has really funny lines too, and that solo violin theme gives the whole thing a really creepy feeling. Wonderful.
