More interesting than I thought it'd be! It almost felt like Guilty meets The Vanishing but 00s vibes. Not because they're similar films in terms of stories, just a loose feeling compared to what I expected.

I found it entertaining and I enjoyed the ending. A nice, satisfying, dramatic touch. I quite like these emergency service worker films 😅

More of the little boy. He was telling it like it is. Entertaining. Believable. Had sense. Ran from danger. Let Dave handle it, let him know he's gonna die, if I remember correctly, too. The true star of the film! I don't really remember anything else about it, other than the ending.

    Memories of Matsuko

This is one of my favourite films and an exception to my dislike of sad films. It's a tragic story told in the most delightful way.

True to this director's work, it's colourful and visually interesting.. but it takes us through a story of a woman we already know has been killed having lived her final days as a recluse.

Despite having not been through domestic violence, heartbreak and the snakery Matsuko faced, I still found her path relatable in…

I cannot understand how a horror film from the 2000s, that feels like a horror from the 2000s, can be so... horrifying.

First of all 😩 y'know, sexual assault and all that. I'm already disheartened and not quite sure what I've got myself into here. Thai films always got some old man - young girl / teacher - student grossness going on, huh. Is this a real issue in Thailand? I need to Google about it someday... (Where is Nanno…

    Oh dear.

I was very interested in seeing this condition explored on a film.

In addition, although the characters made her seem 'crazy', the viewers were not persuaded to agree with them. In fact, they seemed like the 'crazy' ones, as - despite not understanding necessarily - we were able to greatly empathise with her unhappiness, loneliness, wish for control and helplessness.

It was nicely done, and I was very curious, but I sadly didn't come away satisfied. However, the…

    I'm sorry, what... BABY COOKING?!

    Oh my gosh.

But I enjoyed this. That woman was on a mission! I mean, she was really focused on what she was doing, damn! Obsessed!! I was thinking, "Seriously, what's going on with her?". I felt bad but at the same time, she must have absolutely no one and nothing in her life for this to really take a hold as much.

You see how that witch doctor of dark magic is just down…

    A love story.

Or rather, tragic stories of lovers.

I'm guessing this is inspired by The Innocents, a film with a similar story to Peter and Rebecca. I quite liked how they went about reimagining or creating these love stories, actually. I thought it was a good concept.

However. Dani and Jamie, and I had to find out Jamie's name because I did not know it. I don't think I connected with that character. I was sad because I really…

    Secret cinema: recommended by Agus.

I actually didn't know who Talking Heads were. I knew their name/that they existed, and had surely heard their music before. However, I couldn't have named or sung you a song by them.

Very 80s. I think if I were a fan I'd 100% walk away from the audience as extremely fulfilled. They did well as entertainers to reflect their music well, keep the energy going and the crowd happy.

    80s keyboardists are always giving…
