Nikolas Kalar’s review published on Letterboxd:
This is such an immediate improvement upon the original. From the opening sequence, it is clear that everyone has stepped their game up. Chapter 2 leans into the best qualities of the first, and out of the worse ones. It really helps that they give up any pretense of taking themselves seriously, and go utterly looney with rules and inhabitants of the criminal underworld. The script still isn't great, I'm still not sold on the performances the way some people are (save Ian McShane), but they've stepped up the action, the stunts, the chases, and the world-building in a way that I'm happy to see in an action franchise.
