This is really just an inversion of Crimes and Misdemeanors, as far as taking-action-in-your-life-in-the-form-of-murder movies go. This is hardly comparable to that one, but it’s an unfair comparison. For it to even be mentioned in the same sentence as maybe Allen’s greatest film is quite the compliment.
