Incredible filmmaking. I was completely immersed in the story. It wasn't till the end that I realized I had been watching actors doing what the director told them to do, and not the actual event. I felt as if it was all real. The decision to make the Nazis faceless and have their footsteps constantly echoing at random was perfect- it made every scene all the more gripping.
It takes guts to admit you didn’t like a movie from one of your favourite filmmakers.
