𝔑𝔬𝔠𝔱𝔲𝔯𝔫𝔞 🌙’s review published on Letterboxd:
necrophiliac noir in thickets of whirling fog and moonlit studio streets. an ethereal atmosphere that calcifies around the carnal love for cold corpses.
the soft-focus grotesque: a rabbit fur mitten devotionally caresses the pale flesh of a dead woman decaying in pallor mortis; an operatic voice sings in syllabic trance over broken piano stabs as he strokes the white lesions tenderly.
all plot dissolves into giallo-esque contrivances. the air is stale with putrefaction.
