Juror #8 🏳️🌈’s review published on Letterboxd:
What a beautiful creature.
Hot box!
I cussing adore this film. Even on my sixth watch, I still encounter new details I’ve never noticed before. Kristofferson puts on his lost shoe after escaping. Ash, Kristofferson, and Agnes are in 6 ¾ grade. Et cetera. My grandma loved it as well. Her paraphrased review:
This is such a riot. It’s so beautifully and wonderfully crafted. I can’t even imagine the skill, creativity, and imagination it takes to come up with something like this. I laughed at 30 different jokes, though I’m not sure what my favorite would be (for the record, she laughed hardest at the bandit hat jokes, most especially the “modified tube sock” one). This is a masterpiece.
That makes her the seventh member of our family to agree it’s one of the best films ever made. And there’s something kinda fantastic about that, isn’t there?
This was tragically snubbed in the Film Awards’ Production Design poll, but hey, at least it’s on the Official Top 250 now.
