I have to admit that i am not smart enough to grasp this movie 's message on my first watch. After googling around i came to appreciate it more. What i really loved was the excellent cinematography. The characters were placed in a very textured environment in almost every scene.Everything looked tangible on my screen.
I just think in going for subtlety it became very uneventful ,one shot could drag on for about 5 minutes and i found myself yawning a few times. It reminded me of 2001 A space Odyssey .
I am sucker for these allegorical movies with philosophical dialogue that could always plunge me into an existential crisis(think Synecdoche New York) so i will be definitely rewatching this.
Pro-tip:get lots of sleep before watching this or you'll wake up to credits having missed the whole thing .
