The film is shot very beautifully, the colors used set a reserved but melancholy tone which plays well with the plot of the movie as the characters look for ways to prevent their lives being taken by the evil entity. The film benefits from having a previous film to source from and improve on, "Ringu" (1998).
I like the metaphoric concept of "The Ring" being used to represent the spread of the tape / evilness. A circle that continues on…
