Sonic the Hedgehog 2 2022
If the first was testing the waters for what video game movies could be this one cannonballs into it, melding plots and set pieces from many classic Sonic games into a fun story for kids and some pretty chuckleworthy moments for adults. The real people sans Robotnick Stone and Wade did bring the movie down a few points but overall it was a good time at the movies

The Batman 2022
I’d like to see it again, but first impressions are wow. The City of Gotham feels unredeemable but alive with the redemption it desperately needs. Pattinson’s Batman is a broken man, one that can only fill his void with vengeance. It’s a strong film for me
