this film is a surrealist atmospheric nightmare masterpiece.
honestly the scariest film i've seen and it's the creepy atmosphere more than scares, but there are still some, there's something at the end that always freaks tf out of me and of course the iconic dumpster scene.
there are a lot of iconic scenes from this that lingered with me and this isn't all freaky shit, i laugh at certain scenes, like when that guy drinks the espresso and spits it on the napkin and the guy next to him yells like wtf😂😂
also i watched the interviews about this with lynch and the guy who plays the cowboy is a long time friend of lynch and justin theroux had to hold cards with his lines on it because his memory was so shitty. also in the restaurant near the end you see the cowboy walk by "camilla rhodes"
"this is the girl"
"her name... is Camilla Rhodes"
great quotes and the way people speak is heavily inspired by eyes wide shut and both of those are masterpieces.
David Lynch needs to make more theatrical releases films.
i still need to watch twin peaks and will soon, because i've heard great things about fire walk with me.
also this great film has an amazing closing shot!
