I had high hopes, but this absolutely exploded all my expectations. A joyful, delirious, colorful, thrilling piece of animation, and one of the finest superhero films ever, period.

Let's start with the petty stuff. If the Superman reboot was called MAN OF STEEL, then the followup simply should have been called DAWN OF JUSTICE. It's neither Batman's nor Superman's film, and the V part is so minimal that they should have accepted that the film was really about the necessity of the idea behind the birth of the Justice League.
