Blind Faith ★★★½

This multilayered courtroom drama takes an unexpected turn when it is discovered that racism is not the only thing complicating the case. The acting is great and convincing, but there is one scene late in the film, in which two of the characters are on their knees begging a third one to act, that feels artificial. Interesting and engaging, "Blind Faith" has some genuinely emotional scenes, and it avoids sentimentality and an unrealistic happy ending.
