Peter Ericson’s review published on Letterboxd :
The messages at the beginning of the movie are really funny and set the tone for what is to come. There are moments of surprising depth and intelligent observations sprinkled throughout the movie, and it does not take itself too seriously, but it is problematically uneven. The cast is generally very good; Alan Rickman—great, as always. "Dogma" is definitely not an ordinary comedy, and I have never seen anything quite like it.
