Peter Ericson’s review published on Letterboxd :
Part of the story of this movie is somewhat unrealistic, but that is not something that bothered me much because the very realistic depiction of the war is the true strength of this movie. The war scenes are terrible to watch, and the movie shows some of the atrocities that human beings are capable of committing against other human beings for one reason or another.
The movie lets the viewer follow a few photographers in the hell on Earth that this war was, see what they sometimes have to go through and how they work under conditions such as those in the movie. An interesting approach that works really well here.
"Harrison’s Flowers" as a whole is a powerful movie.
